Jamie Foxx on Sesame Street

This is HILARIOUS to me for some reason. We all know Jamie foxx will always bring the comedy no matter what setting he's in. But I'm trying to figure out the correlation of album promotion and sesame street?

Diddy Blog #36-Let It Go..

I gotta agree with Diddy on this one. I'm at fault as well. I've tried to respect the fact that everyone doesn't celebrate Christmas, but forget that, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone from WhatsThatRightThere!

Beyonce's Diva & Halo Videos...

Not liking this one at all. Wuz up with the "shingle" shades?? And shouldn't the car blowing up be a climatic part of the video? Didn't flow for me at all.

Now Halo looks a lot better. The ladies of course will love the Michael Ealy appearance...

The Runners...

Dru Brett, one half of The production team The Runners, was on WPRK 91.5 in Orlando, Florida tonight. He talked about what they have coming up. Rick Ross has a new album coming first quarter of 09' which he says will be a classic and that they're heavily involved with it. Also they'll be working with Chris Brown on his new album tentatively titled "Graffiti" on a song he calls a "Certified BANGER." They're favorite song they've done so far is "Hustlin" by Rick Ross. Expect more FIRE coming from The Runners and keep it Riiiiiiight there where you go it!

TubeSteak airs out David Banner...

These video's are HILARIOUS. Aaron McGruder, creator of the Boondocks, has started a youtube channel with hilarious videos to keep you laughing until the new season of the Boondocks begins. Keep it Riiiight There!

Madea Goes To Jail (Movie Trailer)

This looks like it'll be good. I really liked his last one "The Family That Prey's." Tyler stars in this one, with Derek Luke and what do we have here....Lil Rudy from the Cosby Show, Keisha Knight Pulliam playing a prostitute and former drug addict. Should be verrrry interesting. Coming to a theatre near you very soon!

Can u solve it?

I did it in abouuuut a minute and a half. Video is pretty good and worth solving the puzzle for....How long did it take you?

Brian McKnight sings "Let It Snow" on CBS with his two sons...

Amazing! It obviously runs in the family. Keep it riiight there!

The "What In The World" Moment of the Day...

This is too funny. The ultimate disrespect in the Iraqi culture. President Bush makes an unannounced visit to Iraq and while speaking, an Iraqi journalist throws both of his shoes at President Bush. See it for yourself...

New Brian McKnight Studio Album on the way!

Get ready! Brian McKnight will be releasing a new studio album titled "Live from Fifteen" in FEBRUARY! His voice is amazing and I'm sure the album will be craaaaazy! Keep it riiight there for more....

Ciara News!

Ok, so we know that her album's been pushed back to Spring 2009. Her first single "Go Girl" with T-Pain didn't really take off like Jive hoped, so it was back to the drawing board.
Apparently Ciara and the label have agreed on another "first" single and as of now, it will be "Never, Never" Co-written and Produced By Polow Da Don. The song will be released in early January with a video following shortly after that. Remember where you heard it first and keep it Riiight there!

Concert Review 12/13: John Legend & Raphael Saadiq @ The Durham Performing Arts Center, Durham, NC...

So first off, early in the day yesterday I was able to participate in a Food Drive with Raphael Saadiq at a Wal-Mart in Raleigh. He was real cool, and seemed very humble and interested in helping out. ALWAYS remember to give back people! Especially during this rough economic time, it's more important than ever that we do our part to help others....
Now for the show, Raphael did his thing. Performed a lot of joints off the new album and off course one of my favorites from Tony Toni Tone, "Anniversary." He has good stage presence, not amazing, but good. His voice was great, no problems there. His band was good, overall very good set by Mr. Saadiq.
Now for Mr. Legend. I was really interested in seeing John perform as I've never seen him before. And let me just say....WOW! He's amazing. You must check him out if you haven't already. From what I've heard about his shows in the past, he seems to have really evolved from just being a guy that sits at a piano the entire time. Of course he has a few more uptempo songs now and that helps but I thought whoever outlined the details of the show, which I'm sure included John himself, did an outstanding job of mixing the slow and fast paced songs so that you didn't fall asleep from all the slow jams! He surprised me when he did "Computer Love" by Zapp & Roger. He brought a woman on stage and she had a BLAST. I loooove "Green Light" and he had the whole place rockin when he did this.
The venue was sold out and let me tell you, If you're ever in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina, you must check out an event at this Durham Performing Arts Center. It is truly amazing and is by far the best venue I've seen on the East Coast.
I recorded some video and hope to have that up soon. Soo keep it Riiiight there!

I don't even know what 2 say. Video speaks for itself. Just keep it Right there. Why????

Ohhhh Yeaaa, This is the one...

Now, normally I can't mess with Keyshia's music. I feel like she tries to over-sing everything and ends up hitting wrong notes left and right. But I can mess with this track b/c she's not over-singing. PLUS it features the homie NAS. This is a BANGER! "Ohh, yeaaa" check it out and Keep it Riiight There!

Let You Go...

It seems like Pretty Ricky's new album "80's Babies" has been put on hold for a while now. I'm telling you, they just aren't the same without Pleasure P. They need each other! But he still has the most talent and probably did the best thing in the long run by leaving the group....

JD & Elliott Yamin in the studio....

JD and Elliott Yamin in Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis' studio in LA. Hmmm looks very familiar. Maybe because I've been in there or something, I dunno. Should be very interesting to see what comes from these two working together...

Come on Keyshia...

Keyshia Cole sang the national anthem at the Oscar De La Hoya/Manny Pacquiao fight last night and looked a HOT MESS while doing so. Come on MA, you've got a new album coming out Decemeber 16th?! You can't be lookin like this...
But on a positive note, she didn't completely destroy the anthem like I expected...

My Cadillac Records Review (No Spoilers)

Saw the advanced screening last night. Great movie! If I could sum up the entire movie in two words, it would be: History Lesson.
I learned some things that I definitely didn't know about artists jacking songs and people not getting paid their just due.
But this movie also serves as an example of why all you aspiring artists, songwriters, etc. should know this business inside and out before you jump in it.
Folks in the industry are ruthless and will take advantage of you If you're talented and don't know your stuff.
Beyonce did a great job. Oscar maybe? We'll see. My favorite character was Definitely Columbos Short's character. You'll see why...
Overall, great movie. Go see it, and get informed! Cadillac Records is in theatres TOMORROW!

Digital Girl...

Lovin this record. Kanye spit one of my favorite lines I've heard from him lately. He spit the same thing on a Hot 97 "freestyle" recently but it goes " u know what's a crazy thing, some girls make u wait longer than AC Green." Google him if u don't know the history.

Ladies...Need a Pedicure?

So I was privileged enough to hear the new self-titled Avant album before it drops next Tuesday (12/9). Now first of all you have to understand that I wasn't a big fan of the first single "When It Hurts" or the recently leaked "Attention" featuring Snoop. But after listening to this album, and I JUST Finished listening before I made this post, I'm highly impressed with this album. It's one of those records you can just put in with your lady, or ladies that you can just put in and vibe to and sing along with.
I loved the "Director" album but this is a GREAT follow-up and it's hard for artists to follow-up really good albums now-a-days. Ask Beyonce. Oops did I say that?
Anywhoo, Check out one of my favorite joints, "French Pedicure", and don't forget to cop that new album on Tuesday!
