Janet Jackson IN HOSPITAL!

A rep for Janet says that the singer was hospitalized after "falling ill" shortly before a concert Monday Night in Montreal. The show was cancelled.
Janet is being monitored at an unnamed hospital but no other details have been released. Last Friday, Janet cancelled her "Rockwitchu" Tour Stop in Detroit due to "production constraints."

Dang Janet! Maybe she's pregnant?! Either way, hope she gets well soon! It would be a shame If she had to cancel the rest of the tour....

Beyonce set to perform new singles in......EUROPE?

It's been confirmed that Beyonce will perform her two new singles "If I were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" at The MTV Europe Music Awards which will take place and air live from Liverpool on November 6th.

Beyonce is also nominated for the "Best Urban" award with Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Alicia Keys. BEST URBAN AWARD???! What The....? I know Europeans could come up with a better name than that. Wasn't it Dave Chappelle that said "Urban" is just a way to cover up the N' word. Let's get it together Europe!

Saw the advanced screening for this last night. DEFINITELY one of Spike Lee's best! There were funny moments as well as serious and educational moments. A MUST SEE for everyone no matter what race you are. Very rarely do you see the entire audience clap at the end of the movie, but it happened last night. Miracle At St. Anna is in THEATERS TomorroW!

What a shame. This 5th grader wears a shirt that says "Obama, a Terrorists best friend." And he, nor his dad see any problems with that. He's asked to turn his shirt inside-out and refuses. This kid and his dad get free press and this newscaster from (FAUX) News supports them and is gonna send them t-shirts and bumper stickers. All you can do is shake your head at this craziness...

The "What In The World" Moment of the Day...

Ladies & Gentleman, the picture above represents the failed release of LL Cool J's latest album, Exit 13. Mr. Cool J sold 43,762 albums in his first week out. Now I have a lot of respect for LL...

He's a great performer and has put in a lot of work to still be somewhat relevant 13 albums later. BUT this kind of news should really make him think lonnnng and hard about hangin up the Mic.

Unfortunately, I believe he has put a lot of time and effort in trying to cater to a younger demographic instead of evolving with his core audience. His biggest fans are ladies, doesn't take a genius to figure that out. And the ladies wanna hear some "Loungin", "Doin It", and "Luv U Better" type records, NONE of which appear on Exit 13.

LL must either go back to the drawing board and get back to basics, or after 13 albums, EXIT...

Movie Review...(No Spoilers)

I was able to see the advance screening of this movie last night and I must say in one word:Amazing. Must see movie. Action packed. If you have blood pressure problems, make sure you take your pills with you because this movie will get it rising quick. Samuel L. Jackson plays his role to perfection. I love Kerry Washington and she definitely did her thing. Not gonna spoil it for anyone, but the movie hits theatres THIS Friday. Check it out. It has the DaveEmoney seal of approval ;)
