There was a lot of speculation on message boards across the internet on if The Dream's new album was being rushed. Well fear no more, the album has been pushed back to Spring 2009. No specific release date has been set. I think it's a good move. There's definitely no need to rush this one.

N'Dambi, a Soul Singer from Dallas, Tx, and formerly a back-up singer for Erykah Badu. N'Dambi is currently apart of the Stax Records Family which includes Angie Stone and Lalah Hathaway. The girl can sing her butt off and is one of the most down-to-earth people I've met.
The song above is from her album "A Weird Kinda Wonderful," which was released only in Japan in 2005 but has recently been made available in the US on cdbaby.com, dustygrooves.com and selected Indie retailers.

Dancing With The Stars Tour Coming to a City Near You!

Kicks off December 17th in San Diego. Will feature several past guests as well . Toni Braxton and Lance Bass will co-headline the show. The two hour show will feature a recreation of the actual set with intimate VIP tables on the floor that put fans in the center of the acton. The cast will be accompanied by a ten-piece live band performing a lot of the songs you loved during the show. The production will also feature two hugh HD TV screens showcasing: never-before-seen footage, bloopers, behind-the-scenes interviews and some surprise extras.

Soul Men- IN THEATERS This Friday November 7th!

Saw an advanced screening of this movie last night. You will be laughing constantly throughout this one. Sooooo many quotes to remember. The foul language is definitely pretty heavy, but what do you expect from Bernie and Samuel. There's a great tribute to Bernie and Isaac at the end of the movie, so make sure you stay in your seats to watch that. I think I heard "Mutha F*****" AT LEAST 100 times, some of it necessary to get a point across and some of probably not. But a great movie nonetheless and I suggest you all check this one out. Also check out a song from the movie "Puppet" with John Legend Featuring Bernie and Samuel L. The dance moves for this one are CLASSIC.

Avant Promo Tour 10/31 (Raleigh, NC)

So you know it's Radio Promo Tour season, and this time Avant rolled through Raleigh, NC. He hit up Radio-One first and did a few interviews. He interacted with the staff and was really cool, calm and down-to-earth. They had quiznos subs and Buffalo Wings for him to eat. He nor his folks had eaten anything all day, and mind you this was around 3pm.
Next, he hit up North Carolina Central University in Durham to pump the last day of EARLY VOTING in North Carolina (TODAY 11/1).
After that, he hit up the GRAND OPENING of "The Skating Place" in Raleigh. Very nice set up. Lots of kids and Parents which made for a good look for Avant. The DJ started spinin Avant's music and pushing the fact the his new album is IN STORES DECEMBER 9th.
Finally he up the 40/30 club in Raleigh for a party that also included RAY J. I didn't make it to that one, but you can imagine the foolishness from the ladies that probably occurred with those 2 guys in the building. As you can see from the pics, Avant is "Album Release" shape. Dude's definitely been hittin the weights since the last time I saw him in concert.
