So you know it's Radio Promo Tour season, and this time Avant rolled through Raleigh, NC. He hit up Radio-One first and did a few interviews. He interacted with the staff and was really cool, calm and down-to-earth. They had quiznos subs and Buffalo Wings for him to eat. He nor his folks had eaten anything all day, and mind you this was around 3pm.
Next, he hit up North Carolina Central University in Durham to pump the last day of EARLY VOTING in North Carolina (TODAY 11/1).
After that, he hit up the GRAND OPENING of "The Skating Place" in Raleigh. Very nice set up. Lots of kids and Parents which made for a good look for Avant. The DJ started spinin Avant's music and pushing the fact the his new album is IN STORES DECEMBER 9th.
Finally he up the 40/30 club in Raleigh for a party that also included RAY J. I didn't make it to that one, but you can imagine the foolishness from the ladies that probably occurred with those 2 guys in the building. As you can see from the pics, Avant is "Album Release" shape. Dude's definitely been hittin the weights since the last time I saw him in concert.
